M om woke up with contractions around 4:00am on February 3rd and we went to the hospital around 11:30pm.
I was born on Sunday, February 4th, at 5:58am and weighed 6 pounds, 9.8 ounces.
W e came home on the 5th.
O n the 7th, I went to the doctor's office for the first time and weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces.
I got my first cold on the night of the 13th, so I went to the doctor again on the 14th. I was up to 7 pounds, 2 ounces by then.
G randma Heath, Aunt Shannon, Aunt Brianna, and Cousin Marin came out to see me on the 15th. I don't know if Marin liked me.
W hen I went back to see the doctor for my 2-week checkup on the 20th, I weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces -- a whole pound heavier than when I was born.
M y umbilical cord finally came off on March 1st. I have a real belly button now!
S ince my umbilical cord came off, I got my first "real" bath on March 3rd.
M om is still breatfeeding me, but Dad fed me for the first time (breast milk in a bottle) on March 4th. I made a big mess while trying to get used to a bottle!
A nd right now, 10:26pm on March 7th, I am being fussy for no apparent reason!

I went on my first plane ride to California on March 16th and met Grandpa, Uncle Jeremy, and many other members of Mom's family.
M om went back to work on March 19th and Daddy stayed home and took care of me for two weeks. We had a lot of fun together. I have started to sleep through the nights, which has really helped Mommy get enough rest to be able to get up early and go to work.
D addy and Mommy left me to go on their first date since my birth on March 31st. I heard they went to a movie and dinner... but I'm sure they missed me!
I met the Easter Bunny on April 2nd when I sat on his lap and posed for a picture at the mall. I'd never seen a bunny before -- especially not one that big!
B y now, I've started smiling, cooing and "talking" to my parents. I can't help but laugh when they make funny faces and sounds at me. I just wish they could understand what I'm saying. I also hold my head up really well now, and I can look around on my own in response to sounds and voices.
O n April 4th, I went to see the doctor and I was up to 10 lbs, 12 ozs (50th percentile) and 23" long (75th percentile), so I'm definitely becoming a big girl! I've already started outgrowing some of my clothes (including the outfit I wore home from the hospital). I also got 5 vaccinations in my legs -- ouch! I screamed.
S tarting April 9th, both Mommy and Daddy are back at work. I stay with my Grandma some days and Lorie the others. I have fun during the day, but I always look forward to Mommy coming and picking me up. I give her a huge smile as soon as I see her every day. I get to stay home with Daddy every other Friday!
