Mom and Dad had a little scare near the beginning. Everything
turned out to be OK, and there were even some good side-effects of
the whole ordeal. For one, knowing for sure that I was a girl made
it easier for them to pick a name for me (and they needed
all the help they could get!) They also got a close-up look
at my genetic code. Just think, if this were the not-too-distant
future, they'd know pretty much everything about me from this.
